Fast Fashion Project

As the very last assignment of 2021 Fall term APES, students were asked to find a piece of clothing in our wardrobes and research how it has made its way from the factory to our home and the energy involved in that process. I did this project on a pair of Vans checkered old skool that I bought about a month ago. Throughout this investigation, I was absolutely shocked at the devastating amount of renewable and non-renewable energy consumed in manufacturing and transporting this pair of sneakers.
